Ever wonder what goes on behind-the-scenes at a law library?
The American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) hosts a contest each year to tell our story. AALL members submit photos and videos to “capture the spirit of law librarianship.” (AALL)
Please visit the AALL Day in the Life Contest 2015 flickr page to view the photo and video entries. (Stetson University College of Law, Dolly & Homer Hand Law Library’s “James and the Giant Library” video is a GoPro delight!)
What’s going on today in the Ruth Lilly Law Library?: It’s time for our Circulation Staff annual retreat!
After the academic year comes to a close, the Circulation team gathers on-site to touch base, break bread, and plan ahead for the new year. We’re continually looking at ways we can improve our service, revisit past goals to gauge our progress, and celebrate the milestones we meet.
A goal that we accomplished over the past year was to better organize and access resources for final exams.
An event that we’ve been able to build and expand is our Stress Relief Day with therapy cats and dogs each semester before finals.
A goal that we had wished we could accomplish was to “expand [our] means of communication with students,” and this blog is one important step in that direction.
